Research Statement:  My research is on sorghum improvement for food application, specifically looking at combining high protein digestibility (HD) and waxy (WX) starch traits in a hard endosperm sorghum to improve protein digestibility and starch functionality and test performance of selected lines in dough/batter based food matrices.
